Youth Write Camps Open for Registration

YouthWrite® hosts camps for kids who love to write...just about anything!

We offer a multi-disciplinary approach to writing and focus on storytelling in all its forms. We're inclusive and have never turned away an applicant in financial need in our 25-year history, and we offer scholarships for BIPOC, low income, LGBTQ Francophone youth, and youth with disabilities.

For 25 years we've brought creative kids together with professional writers, illustrators, filmmakers, dancers, improvisers, songwriters, etc. in beautiful, retreat settings. We focus on building literacy, critical and creative thinking, and youth leadership skills so essential to the 21st Century, but our camps also help youths to build resilience and sound mental health. Many participants tell us that YouthWrite is or was a life-changing experience for them, a means of connecting and forming community and networking with others who have a similar passion.

For a young person, such experiences are pivotal. Under the tutelage of caring and expert mentors, young lives can be redirected and altered for the better. We have watched many young people bloom and grow. We hope YOU will help us to continue this 25-year tradition.
