DBT Skills Program.

We can all always use a few more tools in our
kit to help to navigate the world around us.

About the DBT Skills Program

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a structured therapy that focuses on teaching four core skills (mindfulness, acceptance & distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness) to help with the demands of everyday life.

Our DBT skills groups for trans and gender diverse adults (18+). Because our groups are facilitated by registered mental health providers, they are only open to residents of Alberta.

Throughout this 10 week program, we will teach new skills, review previous skills, and provide opportunities to practice coping strategies to deal with the demands of everyday life. There will also be plenty of time for discussion, questions, and connecting with other participants.

The program is aligned with dialectical, cognitive behavioural, and mindfulness-based models and focuses on problem-solving and acceptance-based strategies.

Offered at no cost. Spots are limited.
