Community Coaching

Processing emotions & experiences in a 1-on-1 environment

What is Community Coaching:

Community Coaching is a depathologized, empowerment focused approach that is middle ground between more informal peer support and formal clinical support. This program provides emotional and practical support between two people who share a common lived experience and is a proven and evidence based practice that builds resiliency, connection and improves mental health and general wellbeing.

It focuses on helping clients processing emotions and experiences through engaged and active listening, goal setting and achieving, developing coping strategies or sharing and relating connected personal experiences.

Our Community Coaches are community members with significant training in providing support and connection to others. They draw from this training as well as their own lives and stories to helping others develop community, hope and improve the the quality of their lives.
