Knifewear has spent the last 15 years offering Canada the widest selection of Japanese kitchen knives, sharpening supplies, and cookware. We love sharpening knives and teaching people how to safely use or sharpen them during our in-store classes. We are a shop about food, and we believe a good knife can get people excited about cooking. We also think that the retail shopping experience should be excellent. This is a full-time temporary position (ending July 31st, 2025) in which the ideal candidate joins our media creation team to assist in the planning, production, and editing of videos and photographs destined for social media and other forms of communication with customers, staff, and suppliers.

A successful phone conversation will result in at least one virtual meeting, including the hiring manager and another member of the management team. In addition to this, we will be asking you to film and produce a 30-60 second video about your favourite kitchen knife, any knife will do—show us your vision & style any way you like.
