What it’s not:
It's not conditional. We follow a Housing First approach, which means housing comes first, with no preconditions attached. Once you're home, any support services we offer are entirely yours to take or leave, and whether you engage has no bearing on whether you stay housed.
It's not a program that asks you to prove you're ready. We don't believe in that model, and we've watched what it does to people who've already spent years being told they don't belong. You belong here because you're you.
What it asks of you
What we care about most is hard to put on a form: do you want to be part of a community that looks after itself? It doesn't mean being you have to be outgoing, or the person who organizes the book club. Someone quiet who treats shared spaces with care, and is just glad to be somewhere that feels like home, belongs here as fully as anyone.
What support looks like, if you want it
A Community Coordinator is on-site five days a week, present in shared spaces, available for a conversation if you want one. There will also be capacity building programs such as: mental health groups, peer support and crisis intervention training; and, community programming like shared meals and wellness activities available. There's no expectation or obligation to use it. All of it is optional and yours to shape as you see fit.
Ready to take the next step?
Tell us a bit about yourself and what you're looking for on the ‘Expression of Interest’ application.
Initial resident ‘Expressions of Interest’ must be submitted no later than Tuesday, Aug 4, 2026.
After applications close, all interests will be reviewed for eligibility.
From the eligible applications, we will randomly select, via lottery, a group of prospective residents who will be contacted for a site visit meet & greet and, should they choose, to complete their residency agreement. Those not selected will be contacted to see if they’d like to continue to stay on the wait list for when a spot opens.
