Plan a Nationwide Youth

Interested in Planning a Nationwide Youth Symposium? Brainstorm Meeting 12 February, 1 pm MST

Looking for youth leaders who want to join a round table zoom to discuss topics that are of interest to you and could be shared with other youths nationwide.

Esker Foundation is supporting The Magenta Foundation's search for young people to plan a youth symposium that will take place in 2023. A symposium is a large-scale meeting where people share ideas on specific topics. There might be things like group discussions, panel talks (with 2-3 speakers), well-known guest speakers, or other events like workshops, performances, an exhibition, etc., connected to the symposium.

With mentors to help guide the process, youth from across the country will participate in brainstorming, planning and delivering the symposium based on topics that are important to them- not just art- anything goes!

The next meeting will be over Zoom on Saturday 12 February, 1 pm MST. Anyone aged 13-34 is eligible to participate, no experience is required.

To get involved: email Eva (she/her) at everity@eskerfoundation.com to get the Zoom link! If you have specific questions, you can contact Beth at Beth@exposurephotofest.com and MaryAnn at maryann@magentafoundation.org.
