Community Coaching

Community Coaching is a depathologized, empowerment focused approach that is middle ground between more informal peer support and formal clinical support. This program provides emotional and practical support between two people who share a common lived experience and is a proven and evidence based practice that builds resiliency, connection and improves mental health and general wellbeing.

Peer Mentor Program

This 6-month program matches trans youth and/or parents and caregivers with a mentor from the community who shares some lived experience with them to help them gain another person in their lives who sees them and believes in them to build a sense of community and connection.

Gender Affirming Gear

Information around sizing, wearings tips, care instructions as well as where to purchase gender affirming gear including: binders, breastforms, gaffs and packers can be found on our resource page here. If you need additional assistance or support around finding/wearing binders, please contact us here to setup an appointment and we’d be happy to help.

We also provide easy local (Calgary) access to high-quality gender affirming gear including binders, breast forms, gaffs, and packers in stock at our office. All gender gear is offered at cost with a subsidy program being available for those to whom the cost is a barrier.

A network of businesses with the shared value and commitment that it is essential to create spaces that are welcoming and inclusive of trans and gender diverse folks.

Members encompass a range of industries including mental health, hair removal, hair styling & barbering, beauty & fashion, personal services and food & recreation.

We’ve worked with businesses, non-profits and governments across the country delivering comprehensive education around gender diversity, inclusion and trans affirming practices.

All of our sessions are delivered by educators and facilitators with extensive experience in working with the trans community and are offered through a unique combination of sharing of lived experience and evidence-based practices.
